A sharp cutting edge is essential to maintaining your throughput, yield, and product quality. Thomas Precision resharpens, regrinds, and recoats cutting wear parts for meat processing equipment, including grinder plates, belt separator drums, knife inserts, blades, and solid arm knives. We evaluate a customer’s worn part, sharpen it, and return it to optimal performance, while parts beyond their service life are quoted as new replacements. Grinder plates are inspected for cracks and thickness, then reground flat. Thomas Precision exclusive coated plates are resharpened and recoated for extended run life. Belt separator drums are inspected for cracks and tolerances, then resharpened to restore production of quality product at optimal throughput and yield. We also offer coating services for these drums to extend their life between sharpenings.
